With the increased attention to sea salt, there are many brand new open salts out there today, and many things that would easily pass for open salts too. The intention of these pictures and links is to show you what's currently available by various companies and dealers. Quimper faience pottery is still being sold today and has several lines of dishes, serving pieces and collectibles. The chicks and ducks are actually eggcups, but found in salt collections. Also available is a single sabot (shoe). The trencher style (shown left) is no longer made. | |||
